Can you imagine a high school experience where you live and study in 12 countries over the course of 4 years?  THINK Global School (not affiliated with GlobalThink) opens with its first 9th grade class of 15 students in Fall 2010 and is now accepting applications for Fall 2011 from students with "intelligence, an adventurous spirit, and an open mind."  Ninth grade will be split between Stockholm, Sydney and Beijing...

After that, students move from Santiago to Kuala Lumpur to Berlin for 10th grade, Vancouver, Barcelona, and Dubai for 11th grade, and Hong Kong, Bangalore, and Washington, DC for 12th grade.  In each city, classroom learning (at host schools) is combined with real-life experiences and immersion in the local culture.  Students engage in a challenging academic program which follows International Baccalaureate (IB) as well as US curriculum standards.

There is a strong reliance on technology for learning and communication (all students are provided with MacBooks and iPhones) and the primary language of instruction is English -- although students do learn foreign languages as part of the curriculum.  Think Global School, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, is redefining the landscape of education and pushing out the boundaries of learning.  If it succeeds in its exciting mission, it will soon be turning out high school graduates with a strong sense of social justice, tolerance for all cultures, and a world-class education.
